Article: Art classes improve diagnostic skills of medical students

Another article showing that doctors-in-training who took art classes while in medical school appear to have better skills of observation than their colleagues who have never studied art, according to a research from Harvard Medical School, here.

Obituary: Robert N. Beck, 80, Leader in Advancing Scanning for Medical Diagnoses, Dies

I was so sorry to see that Robert Beck died on August 6th.  The obituary is here and here. He had studied mathematics and physics and did incisive early work on using radioactive materials for medical imaging.
